We understand how frustrating it can be snowmobiling in a large group. Therefore we only go in a small groups - 6 people max, with a private snowmobile departure.

You’ll be picked up in a super jeep to see fascinating geology, beautiful countryside, exploding geysers,
powerful waterfall Gullfoss and top that off with an adrenaline pumping snowmobile ride. For your ultimate experience you will have the same guide throughout the day, in the super jeep and snowmobiling on the glacier.

Give the typical golden circle a huge boost with snowmobiling ride upon an Icelandic glacier.

Itinerary: Þingvellir - The National Park
We will visit the National Park Thingvellir [Þingvellir] where the Icelandic history and great geological wonders come together. In Thingvellir, a parliament was established in 930 but there is also where the two tectonic plates meets, the North American and the Eurasian plates.
Most of the water in lake Thingvallavatn comes from the glacier Langjökull [Long glacier], running along underground channels for 20-30 years, filtering the water. Therefore it is so clear, fresh… and cold.

The Geyser area - Geothermal Park
We will go and walk among the bubbling hot springs in the Geysir area where we also stop for lunch.
Strokkur, a fountain geyser, is famous for its frequent eruptions, every 5-7 minutes. It sometimes can erupt to 40 meters height.
Blesi the google looking volcanic spring. At the geothermal area one can take a look at this very special spring. The southern pool is clear with hot water but the northern pool is cold and blue color.

Langjökull - Snowmobiling on the glacier
We take the mountain road Kjölur, with its fascinating glimpses of Icelands Higlands nature, to the snowmobile Bace Camp by Langjökull glacier, the second largest glacier in Iceland.
Once there, you will be given the Snowmobiling gear needed, as overall, mittens, googles and safety helmet. Then the experienced Snowmobile guide give you clear and precise instructions for handling these powerful machines before we shoot off up the glacier. We promise you that you don’t have to hang around and wait a long time for others as we have a private snowmobiling departure in a group that will never be more than 6 people in the group.

GullfossThe Golden Waterfall
The return journey down from the glacier, to one of the most beautiful waterfall in Iceland, Gullfoss (The golden waterfall), provides further unmissable photo opportunities on this action-packed day. Gullfoss is located in the river Hvítá [White river} that runs from the glacier we have just being snowmogiling in, Langjökull [Long glacier].
